Is this a confidential Service?
Yes, this is a totally confidential service, we do not record alterations or changes nor do we disclose information to any third parties. Unlike other companies.

Is it legal?
Yes, adjusting a cars odometer is not a criminal offence so long as you have permission from the owner of the car. It only becomes a criminal offence if you knowingly sell a vehicle that has had it's mileage altered without informing any potential new owner. If we suspect that you might intend to defraud a third party by using are services we will refuse to recalibrate the vehicle. Please see Disclaimer 

Do I need to inform anyone of the changes?
Yes you do if you resell the vehicle. Please see disclaimer.             

How long does it take?
That depends on the vehicle, jobs vary from 15 Minutes to 3 Days please call for details, this depends on issue and vehicle. 

How much does it cost?

Can I get a discount?
Possibly, if the vehicle is booked on first enquiry and job completed when appointed, and you are on time of course.  (this must be agreed in advance) we make notes of all quotes, this quote will be guaranteed to remain in force for 14 days only.

Can you visit me at home or work?
No, we only work from fixed premises, just 2 min from Terminal 5 Heathrow off the M25. Please go to our contact page for directions. 

Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, if we are the only ones asked to do the work and has not been tampered with previously. We however reserve the right to refuse a job if we feel it is used to increase the value of the vehicle.

How can I pay?
We can accept all methods except in kind. 

Why is another company cheaper?
There can be many factors, however we are aware that there are some individuals, offering this service at a much lower rate, We have invested tens of thousands of pounds in developing our own equipment and software and have the expertise to correct all the memories where mileage can be stored, this process takes time in some cases the vehicle needs to be off the road for up to 3 days, it is important that you understand that if you pay an individual that has only corrected the mileage on the dash and not correctly matched the mileage in all the memories this will put you the consumer left to answer a lot of questions, so if you want it done properly with no comebacks only choose Fix My Mileage. 

What are the pitfalls by not having the mileage corrected properly?
We recieve many calls from customers that have had bad experiences having used other mileage correction companies, we received a call from a customer that went to buy a used car from a dealer, it was advertised as having 40,000 miles on the clock, as the car battery was flat they used a booster charger to start the car, this sent a hike in voltage that caused the original mileage to read 74500 miles, The dealer was embarrassed because he said that he took the car in good faith and was unaware of the changes, this is a perfect example of what can go wrong if the work has not been executed correctly. My dash is not digital can the mileage be corrected?
This is often the case with older vehicles; we will not attempt to work on mechanical dashboards. 

I used a private individual to fix my mileage and the car’s electronics are in a total mess, can you fix it?
Yes we could but because the first attempt was not handled correctly it could cost you, the consumer, up to £2000 to replace all the affected parts.
